Porsche's Mission E To Go Under Production

As its trend gains pace inevitably, the electric car market is quickly diversifying into alternatives as Porsche confirmed that the Mission E Cross Turismo will be going into production in 2019. This concept will be an alternative for those who are looking for a more sporty and spacious version of the low-slung Mission E saloon type. The official name hasn't been released yet, although it seems likely that Porsche will go with "Taycan Cross Turismo". 

According to Porsche, this new line will create another 300 jobs at its new carbon-neutral factory. The company is set to invest €6 billion in electromobility by 2022 and Mission E is only a part of the plan. 

Mission E Cross Turismo is expected to have a power output around 592bhp via the four-wheel drive and a 310-mile range thanks to its 800-volt charging adapter which comes with the ability to be charged up to 80 percent in 15 minutes.
